MyoKinesthetic System
The MyoKinesthetic System
- alleviates pain
- Increases function/movement
- improves and balances posture
- alleviates compensatory symptoms in less than 15 minutes
How can this work so quickly? We focus on the nervous system, while working on the muscular system. The MyoKinesthetic System re-educates the muscles on a neurological level to accelerate the healing process. The approach is based on research and development over 12 year period. The Nervous system is not exclusive to any one healthcare profession. A medical doctor will influence a nerve or the nervous system with a shot or medication. A chiropractor will influence a nerve root or the nervous system with gentle movements.

Problems Alleviated by Chiropractic
Chiropractors remove misalignments of the spine by the adjustment. An adjustment is the name given to a precise method of realigning misaligned body structures, mainly the spine. Some of the health problems that chiropractic can effectively reduce through the adjustments are headaches, migraines, back pain, sciatica, "pinched nerves", allergies, sinus problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, pain associated with accidents and injuries, and the other residual effects of stress (physical, emotional & chemical). Even infants and babies benefit tremendously from chiropractic care. Remember, the purpose of chiropractic care is not to cure specific diseases but to correct the subluxations which are misalignments of the spine that impairs nerve impulses. By removing this interference, it allows the body to heal itself.
How Chiropractic Works
You may be wondering... how can the same chiropractic treatment which effectively treats my back pain also optimize my health? The answer can be found by looking into the relationship between the spine and the nervous system.
As you may already know, the nervous system is the master controller of all living cells, tissues and organs; orchestrating and coordinating all cellular functions. The spinal column encases the nervous system (spinal cord and nerve roots) and is responsible for its protection.
Because of this intimate relationship, biomechanical and structural problems in the spinal column can irritate parts of the enclosed nervous system. This irritation can result from noxious inflammatory biochemicals released during tissue injury or may result from direct mechanical pressure. In either case, the functioning of the nervous system is negatively influenced as is the functioning of the cells, tissues and organs which are supplied by the affected nerve(s).
The resulting ailment(s) depends on the cells, tissues and organs affected as well as the extent of nervous system compromise.
In short, because the body's innate recuperative powers are affected by and integrated through the nervous system, correcting spinal abnormalities which irritate the nervous system can lead to a number of favorable results in patients suffering from various, seemingly non-spinal health conditions.
